Toughened Glass

Everything Windows and Doors uses only the highest quality safety glass which has excellent resistence to thermal stress and can be used in extreme high and low temperatures. This makes it the perfect glass for the constantly fluctuating South African climate. Our glass strictly adheres the safety glass requirements of the South African National Building regulations.

Sizes and Thickness:

Our glass thickness is 4mm, 6mm , 8mm , 10mm and 12mm toughened glass. The maximum parameters of a sheet of glass that can be processed is 4000 x 2440 mm. This is dependent on the thickness of the glass, application, raw glass sheet size available and glazing regulations. Different maximum sizes apply to various colours, thickness and patterns.
Recommended maximum size will depend on application and design load.
